On Friday 27th July, Nowra High held its annual SRC induction assembly, in which our outgoing leaders welcomed the new student representative council for 2018/19. Please see our gallery to view photographs of the occasion.
Our principal, Mr Kingsley spoke about the importance of leadership and the opportunities it presents and Mrs Clerke and Ms Dennis were presented with flowers as thanks for their guidance in the last year.
Melody and Aden Spencer provided a musical interlude.
Breeana O'Donnell (outgoing prefect) and Alicia Sleeman (incoming prefect) were both absent, representing the school at State Athletics.
A morning tea was held to honour the new council and welcome their parents and carers.
Students are to be commended on their exemplary behaviour throughout the assembly. Nowra High values the respect shown for such an important occasion.
